Mini looked after my two cats on two occasions and I have to say that I have been extremely impressed with the service. I would recommend it to others and use it again myself. Arranging the service and communicating with the cat sitter is timely and easy. They are a trustworthy service! I love the timely and thoughtful updates that I was receiving everyday whilst on holiday, which gave me peace of mind that my cats were doing well and were being looked after! Eva and Rosie were beyond amazing with our bengal cat, Kai. He is a semi-outdoor cat and they were so great with being able to let him out daily and call for him back for food etc. We were worried they wouldn’t be able to get him back in and there was never a problem at all (and we were gone for almost 2 weeks!). They were extremely diligent and like clock work would send me updates and photos at least twice a day everyday. Beyond impressed with them and their service. Love Cats has been a lifesaver – as an expat in London, it was hard to find a reliable cat sitter for the holidays, which quickly led to a lot of stress about going home to see family. But our neighbour recommended this company and after some initial hesitation about hiring someone from an app, I took the plunge and honestly couldn’t be more pleased. Lauryn is absolutely fantastic: with almost no effort she got on the good side of my shy Simba, and adores my more outgoing Kona, which makes me so comfortable leaving them in her care for extended periods of time. She’s extremely communicative and sends loads of photos, is flexible on timings, doesn’t mind my absurd “cat mom” lists / requests / methods (and happily takes note of every single one to follow to the letter!), and most importantly seems to enjoy her time with my babies almost as much as I do. Mia and Kiki are very different personalities but they both really seem to enjoy their visits from their ‘cat aunty’. Mia loves being brushed and Victoria makes sure she gets plenty of that plus the cuddles she misses when I’m away. Victoria also understood Kiki’s needs straight away – less fuss, just quiet company.
I have been using Love Cats since moving to Balham in Dec 2013, the service provided is excellent, Victoria, Pamela and Sue all came around to meet the babies before they looked after them. As both my babies are totally different one loves to be groomed the other will not let anyone near her except me it was a huge relief to know that Tinky actually lets Pamela play with her. It is great to receive a text whilst away to say the babies are fine, which lets me relax knowing they are in safe hands.
